Isolaz is an acne treatment device that can clear mild to moderate acne, such as comedonal and pustular lesions. It fuses vacuum suction and intense pulsed light (IPL) technology.  The IPL kills bacteria, and the vacuum sucks debris from the pores. The light technology used is known as photopneumatic therapy.

This skin rejuvenation treatment can improve the overall appearance of the complexion. Isolaz is used on the face and more extensive surface areas such as the back and chest. The procedure is safe, effective, and pain-free. It is also suitable for all skin types and tones and all forms of acne except cystic acne.

Isolaz needs a series of treatments for more effective results.
An Isolaz treatment on the face takes around 15-20 minutes, while larger areas may take up to 60 minutes.

An Isolaz treatment uses three steps: cleansing, purifying, and replenishing. Before the treatment begins, the doctor will first clean the skin. Patients will have to put on protective eye goggles.

A vacuum device, which feels like a warm suction sensation, is then used on the targeted area. This step helps eliminate impurities such as dead skin, oil, and dirt from the pores. Active acne lesions can be extracted. The second purifying step diffuses the broadband light onto the area to destroy any bacteria that may cause breakouts.

Finally, when the pores are open and clean, nourishing skincare products or a light chemical peel may be applied now because they can absorb the products thoroughly.

The treatment requires no downtime, but patients may experience some redness that will subside over time. There may also be a visible increase in lesions as the process helps bring acne hidden beneath the outer layer of the skin to the surface. These breakouts will heal and flatten after 1-2 days. Sun avoidance and sun protection are crucial before and after the treatments.

The procedure delivers immediate results, and patients will notice a decrease in oil and blemishes. Doctors recommend at least 4 to 5 sessions spaced three weeks apart for long-lasting effects. The results of an Isolaz treatment can last up to a year.
